Bunbury United Soccer Club

Bunbury United Soccer Club was founded in 1968 by Life Member Rocky Calabrese and a few enthusiastic followers. In the inaugural year of the SWSA Bunbury United (then Tricolore) won the League and Cup titles and Under 16 League Championship. With over 40 years of tradition and passion. Bunbury United is the powerhous of South West Football. Not that that makes any difference toDunsborough FC, with the newcomer challenging the battle hardened campaigner to duke it out on many an occasion.

Games between Dunsborough and Bunbury United are as passionate and physical as any in the entire South West League. With both skill, power and strength in abundance in both sides, and a never say die attitude from players, this fixture is not for the faint of heart. The history emotions betweent he clubs has matured from outright animosity to an air of mutual respect and desire to compete. The last couple of games between the sides in 2008 were crackerjack tussles where neither side left the ground a loser.

Whether at the Bunbury Soccerdome or on the balmy Dunsborough Playing Fields, the faithful and the curious gather to watch these two opposing forces clash - and are never disappointed. Dunsborough looks forward to many great future battles with this fine club.
